Once upon a time

Once upon a time, there was a blog. It was oriented towards technical writing, tip and tricks, some commentary. It was good. And after a while, the blog stopped being updated, the domain expired, and it vanished from existance.

Not until one day a spark got reignited and the wish to express all the gathered experience and knowledge over the years was finally burning bright.
And this is where we are now. I wanted to share what I have with the world and have this also as a place to express my thoughts.

The main catalyst for this was the dreaded Reddit API apocalypse that shifted my focus towards the fediverse.
Tried a bit before with an account on one of the Mastadon servers, but didn’t have the time or energy to discover people and build up the social feed.

Then came Lemmy, and after setting up a private Lemmy instance, Mastodon came and added some time in setting up and expanding the social circle.

And finally, the day of the l3mur is here as place to write my thoughts out.

Will it be just another blog? Sure. Content might be interesting to some people, I want to write about technical articles about DevOps, or rather Platform Engineering that is the new fad there.

So, thank you for reading all this, see you soon with more articles.

Cheers!
